That is one very nice coin you have got there.

I had the Prussian 1901 commemorative 2 Mark in my collection which was well circulated.

The commemorative 2 Mark coins are far harder to find than the 5 Mark coins is.The commemorative 3 Mark coins are almost as hard to find as the 2 Mark coins are, except for the 1913 Centenary of Liberation from Napoleonic France commemorative 3 Mark coin.

This applies to most German states that issued Mark-denominated coins, not only Prussia.

I have almost a complete set of the German States 2, 3 and 5 Mark coins from 1901 to 1915.
For the commemoratives, I have quite a large collection starting form the 16th century to the very early 20th. The hardest commemoratives to find are the copper ones minted for Baden to commemorate the Victory over France in the 1870-1871 Franco-Prussian war. There very hard to find in Mint State. The hardest 3 Mark to find is the 1911 Wurttemberg high bar H. Only 7,000 known. Here are a few of the 2 Mark and 3 Mark coins in high grade from my collection.

The rarest commemorative coin from the German states is the Bavarian 1918 5 Mark commemorating King Ludwig III's 25th. Wedding Anniversary.

As to the Badenese commemorative 1 Kreuzer coins, they are very difficult to find in any grade.

Yes you are correct, I'm speaking of ones that can be found, not impossible to find. Here is the only nice 1 Kreuzer Baden commemorative I've found so far. I know there are better out there, and I'm looking to find more of them.
