"We All Have Our Hobbies"

Thanks to New England Coin Rarities I have acquired an unusual but very neat Medalet.
It is in the book #47 of the "100 Greatest American Tokens and Medals" by Katherine Jaeger and Q. David Bowers.
This medalet comes in:
White Metal 100-200 known
Brass 75-100 known
Copper 125-250 known
Mine is copper 491C
Rather than me give you the background on this medalet I have copied the page in the book and posted it below my images.
The Medalet is designed by Lovett. Please read the article, it is quite interesting

Thanks!
The dealer I purchased this from is a member here. His name is Michael at New England Coin Rarities.
Excellent person to deal with and he is preparing a few articles for our website too
Its worth checking out his website, he is listed on the "Important Links and Dealer page"

I'm way ahead of you! Lots of nice stuff on there. I'll have to bow out to the big-timers though and just sit back and enjoy the pics.

Hi Stef,
That is a beautiful medalet.
Yours is in great condition and very visually attractive.
I love the cuds which, as I learned from you, are seen on all examples.
I would love to own that piece as it would be a welcome addition to any collectors set.
Nice pick-up.

What a wonderful medalet, Stef! I love the toning on the reverse. Is that a rim break at 3 o'clock on the reverse?
