He was a wonderful person,with a great family.
I got to know he and his wife in the last year....very sad that this relationship ended way too early.

We have indeed lost a great man
 
He was a great human being, kind, generous and always there for everyone!
He will be missed as I consider him like the loss of a family member.
We all knew this was coming as well as he did, but never ready for this moment.

He will be remembered for his vast knowledge of coin collecting
Kindness to others
Humor in good and bad days
And just a stand up great man.

Bless you Abe, RIP the pain is over

 Our culture is so deeply youth oriented that it is easy to forget that the Pepsi Generation is old and gray.  Numismatics is a hobby for the very young or very old.  Statistically, we tend to leave collecting when adulthood brings other interests; and we return only after we have the leisure and resources to bring to a hobby. 

In mythology the Fates were called the Moirae by the Greeks and the Norns by the Vikings.  They were blind.  One spun thread.  One measured it.  One cut it.  Each thread was the length of someone's life and the Fates themselves did not know how long your time would be.
