Oh.  I have not seen any gold coins with the braided hair portrait from the large cents.   ;)
I have collected U.S coins for many years, and then Civil War Tokens, but am now actively building a collection of Conder Tokens,
the coins that made the Industrial Revolution a whopping success. : )

  The Large 1 Cent coins ceased in 1857.

I said 5 Dollars,which are gold coins.

You may have seen a different design in gold.  Maybe they look the same to you.  ; )

The date of large cent production has nothing to do with this coin.
