the coins that made the Industrial Revolution a whopping success. : )

I took some more photos recently.
Some shooting info:
Nikon D300, 60mm Micro-NIKKOR ED lens. 1/100 sec at f/11.
I appreciate this website, and in the time I have left will try to share some 'tips.' I have been sharing information with some good 'numismatographers' like Mark Goodman, and if you want to know how to take good photos, point the camera straight down so you can level the surface the coin rests on, and the back of the camera. This helps keep the entire coin in focus.

Larry,
That's one very nice Upper Canadian currency token that you have got there.
I picked up a pair of 1857's in an auction over here some years ago.
The 1857's for both the 1/2d. & 1d. are extremely underrated,as not many of them were put into circulation,due to Canada's change to decimal currency in 1858.
