My friend Zohar sure does have more of them Stefanie. He has one of the best Austrian Taler collection I've ever seen.

That's a sweet looking Thaler 'Zohar444'.  Beautifully toned, and a very solid strike to boot. Usually the monarchs portrait is very poorly struck or wears down very easily. I can't wait to see more of these.

Looks better than 62 to me. Very sharp strike and nice tone.

Wow! I'm going to have to put on sun glasses for this one. Seriously, the luster on that is gorgeous. The design is stunning as well. Museum quality in my book.

Thanks guys. I am focused on these given that its probably a narrower field than the German Taler world, which demands a different budget. I have another Salzburg Taler I am eyeing and trying to get a budget for. I have listed a few raw Salzburg talers for sale on ebay to raise some cash.

Last for today, my nicest Salzburg piece (I have 2 of this wonderful design), yet this one is:
Salzburg Max Gandolph Graf Kuenburg (1648-1687) Commemorative 1100th Year of Bishopric State Taler PCGS MS-63

Here are three more from my collection. I tried to capture the toning the best way could. The first is a 1 Poloushka (1/4 Kopek) from the RUSSIAN EMPIRE 1797. The second is a 1/2 Kopek from the U.S.S.R. 1928, and the third is a 2 Kune from the INDEPENDENT STATE OF CROATIA 1941. The 2 Kune is made of zinc, which most coin collectors know doesn't usually age well. However this one held up very nice (in my opinion), and even has some of it's original luster.

RUSSIAN EMPIRE~1 Poloushka 1797

U.S.S.R.~1/2 Kopek 1928

CROATIA (INDEPENDENT STATE)~2 Kune 1941

I like the Croatia design. Are these hard to find (Wartime issues)?
